The Salutation is a village pub in every sense of the word, familiar, friendly and full of character. But since coming under new ownership in 2025, we’ve given things a bit of a refresh... a new energy, a new menu and a new commitment to making this place the heart of Keyworth once again.

You’ll still find the charm and warmth of a traditional pub, low beams, local ales, Sunday roasts but now with a brighter feel, a more modern approach to food and drink, and a space that’s as welcoming for a midweek pint as it is for a special occasion.

We’ve worked hard to create a space that suits all sorts, the dog walkers and the dinner dates, the family get-togethers and the post-work catch-ups. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink at the bar, settling in for a lazy lunch, or enjoying the sunshine in our spacious garden, you’ll always feel welcome.

Inside, it’s a blend of old and new, rustic touches with a clean, modern finish. Outside, our garden is the go-to spot when the sun’s out, with plenty of room to stretch out and relax.

Our kitchen keeps things simple, not basic. We serve proper food made from quality ingredients, cooked fresh every day. Expect a mix of pub favourites, seasonal specials and crowd-pleasers for all appetites (yes, including the kids and the fussy eaters).

We’re big believers in comfort food, but done right, with care, with flavour and with a little creativity. Whether it’s a full Sunday roast, something lighter at lunch, or something to soak up your pint, you’ll leave satisfied.
